Omega Vs Aurora Limited

Omega Vs Aurora Limited

What’s Different about the Omega Compared to the Aurora Limited?

If you want to know how the Omega compares to the Aurora Limited - you are in the right place. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from the Aurora series and spent the last 3 years developing the Omega.

Omega Vs Aurora Limited

Let’s start by taking a look at what’s the same on each bike.

Both the Omega & Aurora Limited Come With:

  • Upright riding position with backswept bars and tall stem to help reduce back strain
  • AUTOMATiQ & Enviolo CVT for smooth riding experience
  • Gates Carbon Belt for low maintenance
  • Hydraulic Disc Brakes for superior stopping performance
  • Fenders as standard to keep the muck off when riding

The Omega is an evolution of the Aurora Limited and at first glance they look similar, but there are lots of new improvements. Let’s take a closer look at why we’re so excited about the Omega.

What’s Different on the Omega

Sleek & Modern Frame Design

Omega Frame

The Omega features a fully integrated battery in the down tube of the bike. With the new design it’s hard to tell it’s even an eBike. You can charge the battery either on or off the bike, making it easy to get ready for your next adventure.

The Lowest Step-Through Height

Both bikes have a low step-through height, with the Omega step-through being 17” and the Aurora Limited at 18.5”.

With a low step-through height you never have to swing your leg over the frame to get on and off the bike. It gives you extra stability and helps you get both feet on the ground when stopping in traffic.

The Omega is Lighter than the Aurora Limited

It’s our lightest full-size mid-drive cruiser, making it easier to lift onto car racks or loading on your RV.

Out of the box the Omega is 7.5lbs lighter than the Aurora Limited and only 2.6 lbs heavier with the second battery and the rear rack installed.

Bike Weight Bike + Primary Battery Bike + Primary &
Secondary Battery
Omega 55.5lbs 64lbs 73.6lbs
Aurora Limited 63lbs 71lbs NA

The Omega’s second battery system is integrated into a rear rack and the combined weight is 9.6lbs.

Two Battery System for Extended Range

The Omega is second battery ready with our add-on integrated rear rack system, allowing for two batteries to be installed simultaneously, offering unparalleled mileage and ride time.

Combined, the batteries offer up to a 100 miles of real world riding. When utilizing both batteries, the system will automatically switch from the main integrated frame battery to the secondary battery seamlessly, ensuring your ride is uninterrupted.

The best part is there won't be a bulky battery getting in the way. We keep the step-through area clear by using the rear rack to house the second battery. This ensures you're never restricted in getting on or off the bike.

Omega has Higher Power Density in the Primary Battery

The Omega uses premium 21700 cells, compared to the older 18650 of the Aurora Limited. The advanced battery design gives you more power density for the same weight.

Omega: 720 Wh
Aurora Limited: 672 Wh

A Smooth Ride with No Need for Front Suspension

The geometry and wheels on the Omega are so comfortable that this enables us to use a standard fork. The biggest benefit is this makes the bike lighter overall but It also improves the stability and steering of the bike - giving you more responsive control.

We wanted to give you the flexibility to choose. The Omega is suspension fork compatible and you can add your own or even try a suspension seat post, but give it a try as standard first. We’re sure you’ll love it.

Rear Rack Optional

The Omega is designed around flexibility. If you want a rear rack we have two options for you.

  1. If you want the second battery system it comes with an easy to install rear rack.
  2. You can equip the Omega with an aftermarket rear rack of your choice. It uses standard mounting points so installation is simple. You can tailor the Omega to meet your storage needs and preferred riding style.
