Try out an EVELO electric bike at home! If it's not the perfect fit, return it within 21 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. No restocking fees - pay only the return shipping cost.

Our Simple Return Policy

If you're not completely satisfied with any EVELO product, just let us know. We'll work with you on a solution whether it be an adjustment, exchange, or return.

How Does the 21-Day At-Home Trial Policy Work?

Bike / Trike Returns

You have 21 days from the date of delivery or store pickup to initiate a return under the following conditions:

  • The bike must be returned in as-received condition with fewer than 75 additional miles on the odometer.
  • Original packaging must be used to properly secure and return the bike. If the original packaging is missing, we will have to ship a replacement box at a cost of $200
  • A return shipping fee of $250 for ebikes or $400 for the Compass etrike will apply if we provide the return shipping service. (There is no return shipping cost for product dropped off at our company store in Los Angeles.)

Additional Terms:

  • Local Bike Shop Assembly Fees are not refundable. If you would like the same shop to repackage your bike for the return, the additional cost for that service must be paid directly to the shop.
  • Proper packing is crucial to a smooth return. Bicycles received with inadequate packaging and visible damage are subject to additional charges. (Reach out to us for helpful packing tips)
  • Orders originally shipped to HI and AK will require custom quotes for return shipping

Concerned about repackaging?

Your local bicycle shop can pack the bike for you for their standard labor rate. This is not covered by EVELO, but we can help make arrangements if needed.

Returning accessories?

Not a problem! Within 21 days of delivery or pickup, send us an email on our Contact Us page with what you need to return, and we’ll send you a label right away. Please note that original shipping is not refundable, and a similar return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Accessory items must be returned in original packaging and be in new condition.

We are not able to accept returns on service parts such as motors, controllers, or batteries. If you receive a new item that's defective, let us know within 21 days, and we will arrange a replacement right away.

How to Start an Exchange or Return:

If you would like to exchange or return your EVELO purchase, you can submit an exchange/return request form by clicking the link below:

Once we receive this form, we will email you packaging instructions and other details. We’ll generate return labels and schedule a UPS or FedEx pickup from your desired location.

If you purchased the Local Shop Assembly, these charges are not refundable. If you choose to have a local bike shop re-package the bicycle for a return, these charges are also the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.

Refunds are issued to your original form of payment within 10 business days of the bicycle arriving at our Warranty facility and undergoing a brief inspection.
