The Bafang Hub Motor in the rear wheel features a larger core than other 750 Watt eBikes on the market. This means more torque, cooler operation, and longer life.
The wide-range 7 speed system featured on the Aurora Sport will give you the gear range you need to tackle the steepest hills, and achieve top speeds of over 25mph in off road mode. An upright riding position puts the rider in a nearly vertical seating position for the most comfortable ride possible. You will experience little weight on hands and wrists, with the handlebars within easy reach. No stress or strain on the lower back, hands, or wrists.
The Aurora Sport is a simplified version of our Limited model, with an easy access step-through, and comfortable riding position. The Hub Motor has plenty of power for most riders, and features a cadence sensor for the easiest riding possible if you prefer not too hard. If you plan to climb Mt. Everest on the weekends, you may also want to consider one of our Mid Drive models.
Hub Drive eBikes are slightly less efficient than their Mid Drive motor cousins, but are also significantly less expensive. The Aurora Hub can handle larger riders with ease, and can comfortably climb 8% grade with no pedaling whatsoever. The powerful Hub motor offers ample torque for most riding conditions, and the reliable Shimano drivetrain offers a standard bicycle chain and gears, for a simple and easy to maintain ride.
The Aurora Hub can be adjusted to suit Medium and Larger sized riders.. Take a closer look at our sizing chart and specifications on the product page. A great way to compare this to your existing bike is to measure your current saddle height straight down to the ground - this gives you a real number to compare to the specs on our website. If this measurement is over 35” - the Aurora Hub can remain at the top of your list.
