I was debating between a few bikes. I was luckily to have someone let me test ride the Omega locally, before ordering it. When I test rode the Omega, it took me about 5 minutes to get used to the automatic shifting, then I loved the way it felt. The reason I ended up with the Omega is because the bike checks all my checkboxes:
1. Great Support from costumer service even beyond the purchase.
2. comfortable bike with high torque.
3. Theoretically less maintenance.
4. Ability to test ride the bike with the option of free return if the bike doesn’t meet the needs. (I love the bike and kept it 😀)
5. 4 years warranty.
6. speed. It was important for me to have the ability to ride faster than 20 mph (in unlocked mode)
7. Throttle. Even though having a throttle wasn’t important to me prior to purchasing the bike, I find that I use it often when I want a quick “takeoff” after stopping at a light, or a stop sign.
8. Range. It was important to me that the bike range will be able to cover my commute (22 miles round trip) on a single charge, without needing a second battery. Riding economically (low pedal assist) the first 11 miles leaves me with about 80% of battery charge. The return home (11 miles) uses more battery, because I ride it using more pedal assists. I get home with about 40% battery left and charge the battery in the evening.

The bike is great for my commute and I enjoy it very much. The costumer service from Evelo, as others have noted, is incredible. I was in contact with them before and after the purchase of the bike. They are very patient and knowledgeable.

As I mentioned before, it is a great commuter bike.

The mid drive and automatic transmission on this bike is a game changer! It's quiet and powerful, no hills (yet) I couldn't climb. I have a little over 200 miles on it, so still early in my ownership, but along with the torque, speed, and cadence sensors, it makes it very much like riding a non ebike, only with bionic legs! I had to add suspension seat post and handlebar suspension, since this bike didn't come with them. It also didn't come with the 4 hole pattern on the front handlebar post that many bikes have for bolting on a front basket. That is something I would have loved to have and cannot add. It is a great bike however. Support has answered all my questions and they have many help videos to reference. Thank you Evelo!

In the past 30 days I have rode my new Omega 480 miles. I am very happy with the comfort ride and the Enviola automatic transmission

The Omega checks most of the boxes I wanted in my first new e-bike…powerful motor, strong torque for hill climbing, comfortable cruising posture, belt drive, CVT for infinite gear ratios (within a range), hydraulic disc brakes. It also comes with auto-shifting, which I had not heard of before. I was skeptical it would work well and could just get in my way of when I wanted a higher or lower ratio for my desired pedaling performance. But their 3 week trial offer took the risk out of giving it a try. I was quite surprised by how effective it is and how quick it changes right to the gear ratio you need to maintain the specified cadence in the app. It truly is amazing! It takes your mind off shifting as you pedal, freeing your mind to think about riding safely, or enjoying the nature and beauty around you, or on videoing your experience with your action cam.

The main thing missing on the Omega (for my 5th star) was that it has no front fork suspension. I nearly lost control on a ride after hitting a pot hole hard to see in the shade. If they would add this feature, it would be the perfect e-bike. For those who ride where roads are mostly free of hidden obstacles, then the Omega bike is perfect!

Support from Evelo has been stellar! I had a firmware issue with my motor controller display. I contacted their support and they promptly sent out a new controller display for the Dapu motor at no charge! During pre-sales, I got all my questions answered by their team! Thank you and do really enjoy the Omega!

Hands down an excellent experience/purchase-I originally bought a Galaxy Lux. The bike's top-of-the-line technology and an exceptional build was obvious, but the Galaxy Lux frame was/is too smal (I'm 5'9").

I got ahold of Evelo and worked with Thomas and Eric. I had Friday (Aug 2, 2032) off and decided to cross state lines into Washington to pick the new Omega up for the weekend and I'm glad that I made the 3hr drive north. We've got a Gazelle C8 and not only is the Omega of equal quality, it's more intuitive and user friendly. Thanks Eric and the entire Evelo team for an excellent product and top-tier customer service. Thoroughly happy with h the Omega!!
