The Galaxy 500 is our most powerful compact cruiser, and is a great choice for any rider looking for a compact electric bicycle that’s easy to ride, and easy to move around the garage.
Features include an upright and comfortable riding position, both Pedal Assistance and Throttle, as well as the Enviolo Automatiq Shifting, and the Gates Carbon Drive Belt.
Enviolo Automatiq offers the easiest bicycle shifting experience possible, requiring no user input while riding. Set it and forget it, and experience the freedom of stepless shifting - which means you aren’t confined to a fixed number of gears, and you’ll always be riding in the cadence that works for you.
With a low step-through height you never need to swing your leg over to start your ride or get your feet on the ground. Getting on and off the bike is easy.
We keep the battery on the rear rack to make access as easy as possible. The Galaxy 500 features the lowest step through height of any EVELO model.
Open Box Bicycles arrive almost fully assembled, just like our new bikes. We offer instructional videos, instructions, along with an option for professional local assembly if turning a screwdriver isn't for you.

Open Box bikes are models that were returned and refurbished by our professional eBike mechanics. These bikes are mostly exchanges due to sizing issues, or folks who just wanted to go in a different direction.
All Open Box EVELO models are thoroughly inspected and adjusted to perfection. If there are any specific issues (usually small scuffs from round trip shipping) they will be noted and highlighted with images in the product image gallery above.
Since these models are offered at a discounted rate, we're unable to offer free returns due to the expenses related to round trip shipping, repackaging, and the refurbishment process.
